I have a dream:

Where closets exist only for clothes

Not for hiding loving skeletons

Not for burying rainbows and oaths 


I have a dream:

Where rainbows, like blood, are pumped from bones

Coating not just crowns and bleeding hearts

But also painting houses into homes 


I have a dream –

One I hope to see beyond Pride month: 

Closets turned into safe spaces for love

And homes where love is nurtured abound


For now, I'll scream:

I am proud of you all for loving,

I'm proud of the modern colored doves,

And I'm proud on the side, supporting
