Mapúa University (MU) soared high and ranked within the 1141-1160 bracket among 1,503 international institutions in the 2025 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings on Sustainability; rising from its initial bracket of 1201+ from last year. MU is also joined by four other PH Universities in the list.
The QS Sustainability Rankings utilizes three broad categories, namely: environmental impact, social impact, and governance. Under environmental impact, MU had the following scores: Environmental Sustainability (49.2), Environmental Education (47.4), and Environmental Research (27.3). Meanwhile the social impact category had four criteria: Equality (48.5), Knowledge Exchange (38.5), Impact of Education (11.7), Employability & Opportunities (26.2), and Health and Wellbeing (32.7). Lastly, the governance category was measured by Good Governance (60.3).
