22 universities nationwide joined the battle of wisdom in hopes to obtain the ultimate treasure of 40,000 PHP. Their knowledge was tested in four rounds, each round closer to one victor overpowering more than 200 participants.
The battle began with the written qualifying round, “Keys to Narnia,” featuring a 50-item multiple choice type question. 50 participants advanced to the elimination round named “Carnage Among Creatures,” wherein challengers utilized their answer boards and wits to gain points to be part of the Top 20 for the next round.
The remaining 20 warriors faced another obstacle at the semi-finals, “Heroes of the Kingdom,” answering 100 problem solving questions to race for the Top 10. In the last round named “Clash of the Crowned,” the 10 remaining contestants battled it out through a Jeopardy type set up.
Cebu Technological University (CTU) student, John Lester Alonzo Ferrer, defended his University’s championship title as he was crowned Champion.
