Last June 21, the School of Information Technology, together with SAP Philippines, organized the country’s first SAP HANA Cloud Platform With Python 3.7 Development training-workshop at Room 213 of Mapúa University’s Makati Campus with its very own BS Information System students as their participants.
Under the guidance of SAP presales specialist Chai Heng Yeo, SAP solution adviser Doreen Loh, and senior director Joni Wong Angkasa, all from the software company’s Singapore office, the university’s Information Systems students experienced first-hand training on the relational database management system.
When asked about the advantage in learning the platform, Information Systems NextGen president Ro Ehl Matoza emphasized that the workshop aims to provide the students a set of skills that would be needed to efficiently and effectively do jobs like managing the IT infrastructure of organizations or businesses as well as business process re-engineering.
